Ponomarenko L. Informational needs of pedagogical science and development of the system of bibliographic resources of educational libraries of Ukraine

Investigation of the system of bibliographic resources of educational libraries of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, the role of the V.O. Sukhomlynsky State Scientific and Pedagogical Library in the development of the library system in the field of education, coordination of informative and research and methodological activities, creation of branch information resource both in traditional form and as an integrated electronic resource in the field of bibliographic and abstracting activities and information analysis was carried out. Educators' information needs analysis technique was developed, focused on creation of the functional activity profile of a scientist, manager, professor, teacher, specialist in the field of pedagogies and educational libraries, which was based on determination of information about the person and his/her activities, identifying the needs in bibliographic, abstract and information and analytical documents. Conceptual principles of organization of the branch-wide system of pedagogical bibliographic documents and integrated electronic resources were defined, as well as the principles and ways of forming-up the system of bibliographic resources and creating the integrated information system of bibliographic information of the pedagogical science, ways of implementation, current state and prospects of the system development.
