Romanukha Z. Information activity of libraries of higher educational establishments of western region of Ukraine (the end of ХХ - beginning of ХХІ century) : basic directions of bibliographic service and development of information services

The dissertation is devoted to the questions of forming of bibliographic service as component of informatiion activity of libraries of higher educational establishments of western region of Ukraine and the development of information services as a result of this activity. Historiography of researches of theory, methods, organization and practices of constituents of bibliographic service is considered: certificate-bibliographic service, bibliographic informing of users. The terminology-concept vehicle of problem is specified, the basic stages of development of bibliographic service in the libraries of higher educational establishments of western region of Ukraine are set. It describes the current state of information activity of libraries of higher educational establishments of the Lviv methodical association; showes a tendency to the active use of the newest types of bibliographic products and information services. The generalized classification of informative services which are given by the libraries of higher educational establishments in the process of bibliographic service is offered.
