Leonenko A. Training the future physical education teacher for patriotic education of senior pupils

The thesis deals with the problem of training the future physical education teacher for patriotic education of senior pupils. On the basis of integrated scientific analysis pedagogical conditions of training the future physical education teachers for patriotic education of senior pupils are defined and grounded. The model of forming the future physical education teachers' readiness for patriotic education of senior pupils was also theoretically grounded and implemented. The model contains such blocks as subjects, purposes, content and activity, results. It takes into account the concepts of personal, cultural, axiological, competence approaches and is realized according to the following stages: motivational, cognitive and reflexive, each of them having its own content, forms, and methods. Implementing the model results in formed future physical education teachers' readiness for patriotic education of senior pupils. Based on the results of the research work, educational and methodical complex that promotes the development of future physical education teachers' readiness for patriotic education of senior pupils was worked out and implemented.
