Object - US foreign policy in the Greater Middle East; the aim - to identify the nature and objective limits to the "Turkish model" as a tool of US foreign policy in the GME; methods - system, structural-functional, historical, case study; novelty - complex research goals, means and limits the use of US "Turkish model"; results - investigated the origins and tendencies of US policy on the GME, which gave grounds for predictive assessments of US-Turkish relations and the ratio of the use of tools of "hard" and "soft power" in the region; it is introduced in a research sphere, educational courses on political science; fields - vocational training, the theory of politics, political practice.
