Theoretical and methodological and organizational and methodical principles of optimization of learning a foreign language in higher educational establishments by psychodidactic, developing and educative means of educational dialogue were proved in the dissertation. Philosophical and psychological understanding of a dialogue and its interpretation in the field of pedagogical psychology were represented. Structural and functional peculiarities of educational dialogue, its kinds, forms and types were revealed. The content of author program of optimization of learning a foreign language by means of educational dialogue (for students-psychologists) was presented and the results of the efficiency of forming experiment were given.
