The thesis is dedicated to the research of the problem of future primary school teachers about the usage of music folklore in the studying process with pupils. The pedagogical conditions of effective student preparation for the aforementioned activity are determined, substantial and experimentally verified. The criteria and levels of preparedness of the future specialists for the usage of musical folklore are clarified.
