Solodkovska G. Modernization of countries trade policies in terms of global economic liberalization

The thesis is devoted to a theoretical generalization of the formation and implementation of trade policies in a global economic liberalization, and to identifying forms and ways of Ukraine's trade policy modernization with regard to the conditions and characteristics of European integration. The dominant features of modern development and regulation of international trade, the essence, the mechanism of development and implementation of trade policy are investigated in the paper, besides the conditions and current trends of global trading system forming are identified. The main actors of modern trade policy are identified and systematized, the evolution of supranational institutionalization of the European Union trade policy is illustrated, the peculiarities of trade policies leading countries are studied in the paper. Conditions and characteristics of the Ukraine's trade policy formation are discovered, its spatial, sectoral and instrumental priorities are identified, state and prospects of implementation of European mechanisms and instruments of trade policy in national practice are analyzed, ways of Ukrainian trade policy modernization are proposed.
