Chorniy O. Economic Dimension of Higher Education of Ukraine (Philosophical analysis)

Dissertation and its main problems are regarded to the questions of higher education and different economic aspects connected to this. Main research work shows that holistic view on the economic dimension of higher education can be achieved, partly in this work. Philosophical analysis helps to think about the complexity and diversity of economic dimension of higher education of Ukraine. In general, components, that create basis of understanding and develop higher education of Ukraine, are shown. These components are following: economic of higher education, marketing, management, privatization, governance of higher education. Important part of the research is problems related to the globalization of higher education and different economic aspects which found a little attention in Ukraine. Main solving of problems which connected to the economic dimension of higher education in Ukraine is situated in the middle of effective interaction between the government or state, HEIs and the market. Productive interaction can produce systemic changes, which connected to reforms of economic dimension of higher education of Ukraine. Main mechanism of changes remains in mutual usage and implementation of education policy, governance processes and management instruments. All this together create an opportunity to coordinate expanding and grows of higher education of Ukraine. Subjects and mechanism of governance higher education correlates with the development of research university, as object of further strategy of changes.
