The thesis is devoted to the problem of the latest actor technologies of the modern puppet theatre, which is considered in the context of the transformational processes of culture. For the first time in the Ukrainian art criticism the author raises the question of necessity to develop actor technologies of the modern puppet theatre; she proposes psychophisical trainings focused on the actor-puppeteer able to work with the puppets of different systems. The work highlights the further development of the study of transformational processes in modern culture, such as investigation of new theatrical forms and means of expression, the occurrence of which is caused by the artistic and aesthetic possibilities of puppet theatre. According to the general experience of the actor-puppeteer, the challenges of contemporary culture require the actor's versatility, which involves commitment to artistic activities in various theatrical formats, work with different puppet systems. Accordingly, the thesis proves that the creation of the artistic images by means of puppet theatre on the modern stage can be achieved only in case of development and improvement of the actor technologies of the puppeteer.
