Objective: To develop a theoretical basis for components and methodical system to study mechanics profile school according to the state standards, modernize the structure and content of section mechanics. Object: educational process of learning mechanics in profile school. Purpose of the study: methodological system components (content, methods, tools, organizational forms) forming the subject of physics competency profile school students in learning mechanics. Used theoretical, empirical and statistical methods. Grounded components of methodical system of forming the subject competence physics students of specialized schools in teaching mechanics; outlined the methodological basis of the semantic categories mechanics, core structure section and activity-based approach and systematic structural and logical analysis. The technique of structural and logical analysis of phenomena, concepts, judgments, laws, principles of mechanics in profile school, a concept of structural information schemes, the notion of active, systematic approach and competence training in specialized schools; concept of evolution controversy in the development of classical mechanics late XIX - early XXI century. Further development acquired the idea of using new training sets of experimental mechanics; way of introducing ICT through the use of a Web Site. Experimental verification methods of teaching mechanics in profile school revealed a level of motivation and improve the quality of students' knowledge.
