Essay

The dissertation is a theoretical experiment investigation of the problem of professional future foreign language teachers' preparation to forming communicative competence secondary school pupils. The paper defines such concepts as: "competence", "professional competence", "key competencies" of future foreign language teacher. The current state of professional future foreign language teachers' preparation in the higher education institutions of Ukraine is analyzed in the dissertation. The process of professional future foreign language teachers' preparation to forming communicative competence secondary school pupils is based on the following principles: communicative, personal and individual, and according to the Bologna Convention. The model of professional future foreign language teachers' preparation to forming communicative competence secondary school pupils is described. The aim, pedagogical conditions, means, methods, forms and stages of the educational process are defined. The model of professional future foreign language teachers' preparation to forming communicative competence secondary school pupils consists of three components. The criteria, indicators and levels (high (creative), ample (productive), low (limited)) of forming the readiness to forming communicative competence secondary school pupils are grounded. The pedagogical conditions of professional future foreign language teachers' preparation to forming communicative competence secondary school pupils have been formed: organization of professional future foreign language teachers' preparation according to communicative, personal and individual principles; choosing, structuring and refreshing of the content of the professional disciplines in the professional future foreign language teachers' preparation; usage of innovative techniques in the process of professional future foreign language teachers' preparation; usage of pedagogical diagnostics in the professional future foreign language teachers' preparation to forming communicative competence secondary school pupils.
