Todoriuk V. Pharmaco-toxicological characterization of iron-salt preparation for iron deficiency anemia of piglets

A dissertation research is devoted to the study of pharmaco-toxicological impact of salt iron preparation "Ferosel T" in laboratory animals and pigs, to be used for the purpose to prevent and treat iron deficiency of anemia. Based on morphological and biochemical studies found a stimulating effect on ferosel T on eritrotsitoz processes in the body of pigs and development spontaneous iron deficiency anemia for them. Studied the state function of protein synthesis and detoxification function of the liver, its functional state against the backdrop of anemia and reduction processes in the application of salt iron dextran preparation of "Ferosel T". Installed high efficiency of study preparation on immunological pigs' reactivity that requires special correction in the development of hypoxic state oppression against the background processes of eritrotsitoz. Enhanced understanding about the mechanism of development of anemia. Found that in the pathogenesis of this disease is important not only the presence of iron in the body piglets but should be present in their body some trace elements, including selenium. Perfecting widely used drug "Ferrovet 7,5 %" in Ukraine by adding to it selenium makes newly drugs "Ferosel T" highly effective for the treatment and prevention of iron deficiency anemia in piglets.
