The thesis is devoted to study the problem of professional readiness officers to work with staff to provide psychological assistance to border guards and members of their families. Analyzed the psychological characteristics of the activities of officers to work with staff, particularly in the aspect of psychological assistance to border guards and their families. Refined nature, especially the content, structure, defined evaluation criteria professional readiness officers to work with staff to provide psychological assistance to border guards and members of their families and their corresponding indicators and levels. The model is presented and defined psychological conditions of formation of professional readiness of HR officers to provide psychological assistance to border guards and members of their families. Devised methodts of formation of professional readiness of HR officers to provide psychological assistance to border guards and members of their families and explicated the results of verification of its effectiveness.
