The work is dedicated to the improvement of a compact cross-current heat and mass transfer equipment of air conditioning systems at organization of direct contact proc-ess of the air flow with water in the volume of regular packing (RP), characterized by a complex system of canals. New types of RP, formed by sheets, which are characterized by a high degree of wettability on account of the applied materials and special surface geometry have been proposed.
