Essay

Thesis is devoted to the rationale and development of scientific approach for studying the nanoparticle additives impact to increase the efficiency indexes for the refrigeration systems. Nanofluids (NF), i.e. fluids embedded with nanostructured materials, demonstrate thermal conductivity exceeding those of conventional suspensions Fuzzy thermoeconomic analysis was applied to select the nanoparticles as additions to the working fluids of vapor compression refrigeration cycles. New information about equations of state and thermodynamic properties of base working fluids of refrigeration machines using R 134а and R600a with nanoparticle additives is given.
