Kolomoiets T. Social efficiency of professional activity of specialists of correctional educational institutions of Ukraine (by the example of Dnipropetrovsk region).

Object: professional activity of specialists of correctional (special) educational institutions. Objective: formation of conceptual foundations of sociological measurement of social efficiency of professional activity of specialists of correctional (special) educational institutions and grounding of empirical indicators of its definition. Study methods: analysis, generalization and synthesis, descriptive, comparative-historical, of classification and modelling, extrapolation and abstraction; system, comparative and structural-functional analysis, survey (questionnaire); participant observation, analysis of statistic information. Theoretical and practical results: based on generalization of scientific work concerning analysis of social efficiency of professional activity, its theoretic model which reproduces main structural characteristics of the subject of research was built; notional correlation between concepts "social effect" and "social efficiency" of professional activity of specialists of correctional (special) educational institutions was defined; methods of quantitative and qualitative assessment of professional activity of specialists of correctional (special) educational institutions were developed. Novelty: conceptualization of sociological measurement of social efficiency of professional activity of specialists of correctional (special) educational institutions and formation of indicating system of its quantitative and qualitative assessment. Degree of implementation: methods of quantitative and qualitative assessment of professional activity of specialists were implemented in public educational institution "Education and Rehabilitation Center" of Kryvyy Rih City Council of Dnipropetrovsk region; theoretical ideas and methodological developments are used in educational process of Kryvyy Rih Pedagogical Institute of State High Educational Establishment "Kryvyy Rih National University" in teaching the following disciplines: "Sociology of deviant behaviour", "Sociology of education", "Methods of conduction of social research", "Principles of defectology and speech therapy", "Correctional pedagogy", "Inclusive education".
