Essay

Thesis is the complex research of activity of K. I. Osmak (1890 - 1960) as scientist, the organizer of agriculture of Ukraine. Scientific development of research's object has been analyzed and we found out that activity of K. I. Osmak in scientific and organizational maintenance of agriculture of Ukraine has not been studied earlier, and published research which are devoted, first of all, to his political activity, show the person from the one side. It's been established that the scientist settled idea of interrelation of agricultural cooperation and beet production. Besides, K. I. Osmak spread agricultural knowledge. Results of perennial search and systematization of scientific terminology of the scientist have been inserted in agricultural dictionaries.
