The dissertation thesis is dedicated to the complex research of the formational features, structural transformations and activities of the World Tourism Organization, taking into account the dynamics of globalization. Basic theoretical approaches to the concept of "international organization" and the conceptual foundations of globalization are researched. The evolution of the World Tourism Organization and the need for and consequences of reforming the structure and functions of the UNWTO are justified. The problems and prospects of the development of international tourism, the UNWTO effective operation in the context of globalization are outlined.
