Olefirenko V. Non-tariff regulation of commodity exchange in the global trading system

The paper describes the theoretical foundations, factors and motives of non-tariff regulation activation in the global trading system at the present stage of international trade development. The study analyzed the effects of non-tariff measures and their impact on the countries' trade and the economy as the whole. The author made a detailed analysis of non-tariff regulation, its categorical apparatus and functions. The modern practices of non-tariff regulation of international trade and the characteristics of institutional support of non-tariff regulation of international trade at the global level are examined in this work. In the thesis the author defines the dependence between the number of cases of non-tariff measures and applications on imports and an average rate of import duty.
