Essay

In this thesis the main theoretical and methodological fundamentals in the investigation of specific features of public opinion formation by means of television are generalized; the concepts "public opinion", "televiewer", "consciousness manipulation" in the context of conceptual and class system of mass communication means are specified. Art practical experience of modern television is analyzed in connection with public opinion as a social and cultural phenomenon. The mechanism of public opinion formation in social and cultural practice of modern television speech is highlighted, the practice of this process management technologies implementation is generalized. Public opinion manipulations of public opinion on TV in conditions of modern reality in USA and Ukraine are revealed.
