Essay

The thesis focuses on the results of researching typology of maternal identity of women at the early stage of motherhood. Theoretical model of women maternal identity is built. The structure of maternal identity of women after giving birth to a child is empirically specified. The place of maternal identity within the structure of global identity of women during the first months of the post-partum period is identified. . The research presents characteristics of women of every type, the structure of their maternal identity, as well as the factors causing development of these types.
