Essay

The thesis describes the specifics of the Austrian experience of European integration. It determines the overall concept of European integration, and traced its basic theory. It describes the main steps of the process of European integration in Austria to participate in the European Free Trade Association to implement a common policy of the EU after the entry into full membership in the Union. The thesis studies the legal regime of the Association Agreement between the Republic of Austria and the European Community. It has been established that it was an agreement with Austria that later became a model for such agreements, including the Agreement between the EU and Ukraine. The thesis traces the problematic aspects of the legal security of economic integration of the Republic of Austria to the EU. The most notable of them was the neutral status of Austria and especially the constitutional system and the federal structure of the country, impossible implementation of EU law Austrian law. The thesis demonstrates the legal technics of solving these problems, applied by the Austrian legislator, in particular, the reform of the federal system. The thesis traces the peculiarities of legal regulation of the implementation of the general policies of the European Union to the Republic of Austria. It reveals legal problems faced by Austria with the introduction of such policies. It also outlines the main elements of the experience of European integration in Austria, they can be used in Ukraine. Recommendations on the implementation experience of Austria in Ukraine are given and specific mechanisms for the exchange of such experience and its use are demonstrated.
