Object – functional state of rats gingival tissue, depending on the influence of external factors and internal factors of organism; purpose – to establish functional peculiarities of different sex mature and immature rats gingival tissue under the influence of systemic intermittent hypobaric hypoxia and different duration of photoperiod; methods – physiological, biochemical, statistics; the results – established the influence of the pineal gland on periodontal homeostatsis and homeostasis system of physiological resistance of gingival tissue, its peculiarities due to age and sex. Revealed gingival tissue reaction to systemic intermittent hypobaric hypoxia, which is manifested by changes of indices of lipid and protein peroxidation, the activity of antioxidant enzymes, proteolytic and fibrinolytic processes; branch – medicine.
