Kechyk O. Organization of students’ self-work at pedagogical college in the process of study of social and humanitarian disciplines.

Object: the students’ independent work as a kind of educational activity at pedagogical establishments of I-II levels of accreditation; aim: development, theoretical basis and experimental verification of the effectiveness of the educational system of students’ independent work of pedagogical college in the course of the study of social and humanitarian subjects; methods: analysis of scientific literature; modelling of pedagogical system of independent work of students; questionnaires, polls, tests, interviews, observation, expert evaluation; pedagogical experiment; methods of mathematical statistics; novelty: pedagogical system of organization of independent work of students in the study of social and humanitarian disciplines has been theoretically proved, developed and experimentally tested; a set of methodological instruments has been used, including computer test programs, multimedia projects, methodical recommendations for independent work in social and humanitarian disciplines; the forms and methods of independent work of the future teachers in the course of studying of disciplines of social and humanitarian subjects have been improved; the results can be used in the training of future teachers in higher educational establishments of different levels of accreditation, for qualification improvement of tutors, in the post-graduate training and retraining of teachers, in the system of distance education, for self-education activities of students and teachers of the humanities; field: theory and methodology of professional education.
