Essay

The thesis is focused on creation of the method for profiling the high-effective vaned diffusers of centrifugal compressors. Presented method takes into account features of flow kinematics at the diffuser inlet, thermodynamic properties of the gas and vane channel geometry. It is applicable for a wide range of initial conditions. Developed method allows to estimate adequately the flow parameters along the vane surfaces. The computer program has been developed on the basis of the presented mathematical model. The vane profiling and calculation of the flow parameters within the diffuser may be implemented using this program.
