Essay

The thesis is devoted to study the local clustering in the global conditions of economic development. The aim is to develop approaches to the foming of competitive clusters in Ukraine based on complex analysis of theoretical and practical aspects of local clustering in Central and Eastern European Countries (CEECs). In preparating thesis the general scientific and special methods have been used (comparative-historical method, methods of analysis and synthesis, method of abstraction, systematic approach, expert assessments and economic-mathematical modeling). The scientific novelty of the received results is identifying the factors and the latest trends in local clustering in CEECs in the system of modern international economic architecture, revealing its features in high technology and determining strategic directions and prospects of local clustering in the aerospace sector of Ukrainian economy. The practical significance of formulated theoretical generalizations, conclusions and recommendations is that they can be used as methodological basis for the implementation of strategy of Ukraine's national economic interests realization in the Central and Eastern Europe by clustering of the export enterprises in the aerospace sector.
