Essay

Object of research - technological process of wood bonding. The objective - modification of domestic production homopolymer PVA dispersions for increasing the strength of hard wood timber's adhesive compounds. Methods of investigation - experimental; mathematical statistics; regression analysis; IR-spectroscopy; theory of fuzzy sets; object-oriented programming. Scientific novelty. Has had the further development direction of scientific researches on the modification of homopolymer PVA dispersions which involves the use of reagent "Fenton" and the complex of nitric acid and aluminium nitrate. Have been formulated theoretical assumptions of possible mechanisms interaction for modifying additives with homopolymer PVA dispersions components. Have been established new regularities of changes in the proportion of functional groups capable of forming hydrogen bonds in the adhesive film according to the type and content of the additives introduced. For the first time developed adhesive compositions based on homopolymer PVA dispersions domestic production, which modified reagent "Fenton" or a set of nitric acid and aluminum nitrate, providing high strength adhesive joints of wood and meet durability class D3. Were received new regressive dependence for determining shear strength along the fiber connections from hard wood bonding mode settings, which enable to establish rational values of adhesive consumption, durations of open endurance before bonding pressure and durations of pressing. Practical importance. Based on the established relationships between the component adhesive dispersions modified composition and properties of wood have been developed technical specification TU U 20.5-34943263-003: 2012 "Adhesive for wood based of PVA dispersion". Resulted normative document used to establish the production of modified adhesive composition based on domestic raw materials, which corresponds to durability class D3 according to European standard EN 204: 2001, based on production capacity PE "Aned-Ukraine". On the basis production capacity, PE "Aned-Ukraine" introduce into production technological process of manufacturing adhesive composition brand "Parketolep" using the modified PVA dispersion, which is used to form coatings floors of wood and wood-based materials. Have been written software for predicting the strength of adhesive joints hardwood timber formed glues based of PVA dispersion, depending on the values of regime parametres of the bonding. The basic results of the thesis were used for wood bonding thechnology improvement on Ltd. "Viso-LTD" (v. Ugersko Stryi district) and PE Tkachyk M.P. (v. Hrabivtsi Stryi district).
