Reydalo V. Methodology of Forming Future Ukrainian Literature University Teachers' Methodic Competence at a Master's Level.

The thesis deals with the problem of developing future Ukrainian Literature university teachers' methodic competence at a master's level. The research provides the theoretical analysis of scientific literature on the problem discussed; clarifies the terms "competence", "competency", "competency-based approach", "future Ukrainian Literature university teachers' professional competence"; determines the notion and essence of the phenomenon "future Ukrainian Literature university teachers' methodic competence", and specifies its structure and constituents. The dissertation outlines the criteria, markers and levels of developing Ukrainian Literature university teachers' methodic competence; identifies and characterizes pedagogical prerequisites of its training; offers programs of a theoretical course "Methods of Teaching Ukrainian Literature in Higher Education Institutions" and a practical course "Current Problems of Teaching Ukrainian Literature in Higher Education Institutions"; experimentally verifies the model of Master's degree methodic competence training; confirms the use of creative collaboration in Master training in the framework of module system in higher education institutions with innovative and informational technologies implemented. The results of the pedagogical experiment proved the effectiveness of the methodology of forming future Ukrainian Literature university teachers' methodic competence.
