Adamchuk O. Peculiarities of a Border Guard Unit Leader Activity to Prevent and Overcome Mobbing among Subordinates.

The thesis deals with the peculiarities of a border guard unit leader activity to prevent and overcome mobbing among subordinates. Psychological nature, content and peculiarities of mobbing in a border guard unit have been specified and psychological causes of its occurrence have been ascertained. The basic requirements for a unit leader as the subject of preventing and overcoming of mobbing among subordinate personnel have been determined. The procedure of diagnosing and overcoming of mobbing among subordinates by a border unit leader consisting of three stages (preparatory, psychological correction and final) has been worked out. The aim of the procedure is to identify methods of psychological badgering of their members by unit staff and to implement measures for their overcoming. Recommendations to the leader to prevent and overcome mobbing among subordinates, as well as psychological support to subordinates who are the objects of psychological violence by their group members have been stipulated in the result of the investigation.
