The dissertation reviews the questions related to the discovery, archaeological research and historical and cultural identity of the Lower Bug necropolises - historical territory of Olbia polis. The chronological framework of the study is VI - III centuries BC. Are reviewed the problems of historical topography, cultural and territorial characteristics of the population of the ancient Greek polis Olbia in a genesis in the northern Black Sea coast. Basic principles of placing cemeteries like the memorial lanes comply with the traditions of the ancient Greek ritual. Are analyzed the types of burial structures, the main features of the burial rite and the main trends of the burial traditions development both in the context of traditional ancient Greek cults of the Lower Bug region and in the light of Pan-Hellenic religion. In general, the necropolises of Olbia Chora in VI - III centuries BC were left by ordinary population of Chora. Based on the availability of currently archaeological material, it can be stated that the population which has left the necropolises of the Lower Bug in VI -III centuries BC certainly had a Greek ethnos, Hellenic culture and traditions.
