Object - physical training of servicemen of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine; aim - optimization of maintenance of physical training of servicemen of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine 1st category on courses of primary training; methods: theoretical analysis and summering of information of scientific and methodical literature, sociological methods, medical and biological and morphological methods, pedagogical observation, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics; novelty - it is scientifically approved, developed and changed the effectiveness of the program of improvement of physical training of servicemen of the 1st category at the stage of the professional becoming, approved the rational correlation of volumes of general and special physical training of servicemen depending on duty-post categories, it is set, that application of the author program in more compressed terms improves the indexes of physical and emotional states of servicemen of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine; results - it is proved that the application of author program on the courses of primary training gave possibility for short time to increase the level of physical preparedness and health of servicemen; the results of the studies implemented into practice of organization and conducting of physical training on courses of primary training of National academy of Internal Affairs, Donetsk juristically institute of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Charkiv national university of Internal Affairs, National university of state tax service of Ukraine; sphere - physical education and sport.
