The thesis is devoted to the development of methodological basis of regional mapping of natural, historical and cultural heritage. The essence of mapping legacy as a set of measures to develop a system of cartographic works (from an individual map of a local object - to a comprehensive atlas of of a region and regional thematic GIS), which is designed by the same approach involves unification of the structure and content of cartographic works, transfer of complex, visual information on location, status, importance and use of natural, historical and cultural heritage objects.
