Dissertation is devoted to the formation of gender culture of future fire safety specialists in the process of professional training. The research identifies the nature, components, criteria and indicators of the phenomenon under study. Modern psychological and pedagogical literature on the problem is analyzed and the main periods of evolution of the concept "gender culture" are considered in the paper. The author highlights peculiarities of formation of gender culture of future fire safety specialists. They lie in the harmonization of gender relations in order to achieve gender parity and balance it between male and female cadets, who are equal in opportunities for self-realization, self-expression, and self-assertion, the implementation of various social, educational and future professional roles, despite their physiological, psychological and individual differences. The concept "gender culture of the future fire safety specialists" is regarded as a subjectively determined system of values, knowledge about genders, sex-role norms of behavior, contributing to the realization of abilities of cadets / students of different sexes as equal social beings, that forms gender personality traits by creating certain pedagogical conditions of professional training in higher educational establishments of SES of Ukraine, and determines the choice of right strategy of gender identity of fire safety specialists in their future professional activity. The study singles out the criteria of gender culture of future fire safety specialists that are consistent with the components of the phenomenon under study (motivational, cognitive, behavioral): development of ideas on the destination of women and men and their inherent dignity and character traits (motivational component); mastering the amount of knowledge necessary for getting rid of prejudices regarding sex (cognitive component); formation of tolerant interaction between men and women in their professional activity and positive attitude to both sexes (behavioral). Based on the selected criteria and their indicators, levels of gender culture of fire safety specialists are determined (high, sufficient, basic). Model of formation of gender culture of future fire safety specialists in the process of professional training is worked out and implemented. Pedagogical conditions of formation of gender culture of future fire safety specialists (organizational and pedagogical, psychological and pedagogical, didactic) are theoretically substantiated and experimentally tested. The methodology of forming experiment is based on the author's program "Basics of gender culture" for cadets and students of the 4th and 5th courses of specialty 7.17020301 "Fire Safety". The experiment was based on the implementation of psychological and pedagogical conditions of formation of gender culture of future fire safety specialists during the first phase of research, organizational and pedagogical conditions during the second one, and didactic conditions during the third one.
