Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the development of local micro-alloying method, as well as the development of practical recommendations for ways to improve the operational stability of parts of metallurgical equipment manufactured by casting and working in conditions of high temperature and loads. It is developed a mathematical model allowing to conduct evaluation of the influence of the chemical composition, the concentration of alloying elements, the installation location of powdered fillers to the quality of cast metal, as well as its ability to resist high temperature strain. The particulate filler is developed to achieve the vanadium content at the base metal in the range of 0,04-0,06%. The application of schema of local micro-alloying within calculating necessary quantity of filler and particulate filler allows minimizing unevenness of temperature fields and straining. It is developed a mathematical model allowing to determine the dynamics of melting the shell of the particulate filler during the process of its contact with the molten metal towards to the bowl of slag car. The developed the particulate fillers and methods of regulation the ratio of the core and the shell of the particulate filler are ensuring an increase of steadfastness and quality of the metal of bowl of slag car. It is developed the technology of increasing the steadfastness and quality of products from liquid metals (particularly bowl of slag car) obtained with using the method of local doping, and relevant equipment has been introduced at JSC "Azovelectrostal" (Mariupol), the expected economic effect is 1,20 mln. grn./year.
