The thesis is devoted to the development of communicative competence of teachers of vocational schools in their post-qualifying education. The state of exploration of the problem of teachers' communicative competence development and its reflection in domestic and foreign pedagogical science and practice has been investigated. The results of the research gave the possibility to study on the professional level the communicative competence of vocational school teachers. The dissertation contains the results of the definitive analysis of categorical basis of the investigation as well as the analysis of professional and communicative activities of vocational school teachers and functioning of the competence under investigation.
