Tarasenko I. Development and evolution of Kharkiv's scientific and production complex of cement industry of Ukraine in the 50's-80's of the 20th century

The object of the research - the evolution of cement production in Ukraine. The objective of the research - to determine the principal factors influencing interaction efficiency between industry and science in Kharkiv's science and production complex of the cement industry of Ukraine. The methods of the research: actualizations, problem-chronological, historical-comparative, periodization, logic, descriptive, systematic and multifactor analyses. Theoretical and practical applications: the evaluated interaction efficiency between cement production and science within the borders of the respective territorial complex can be used in research of Ukraine's science and industry, in writing textbooks and schoolbooks both in history of science and history of Ukraine. Scientific novelty: the evolution of Kharkiv region's cement industry potential from the 1950's through 1980's has been studied and analyzed and thus new knowledge of the formation of scientific and technical potential of the cement industry was obtained. The degree of integration: the materials of the present dissertation research are used in Kharkiv Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnical Institute" in lectures "The Introduction to "Chemical Technology of Refractory non-Metal and Silicate Materials" and in lectures "The Introduction to "The Machinery of Chemical Plants and Factories of Construction Materials". The Branch of application: the History of Ukraine, the History of Science and Technology.
