The study revealed, theoretically grounded and experimentally tested pedagogical conditions of teachers' professional competence in post-graduate education. The essence and components of professional competence of "Health Basics" teachers developing in a system of post-graduate education are defined here. The content, form and structure of training according to the needs and requirements of "Health Basics" teachers are revealed during course periods. Developed and theoretically grounded andragogical model of professional competence of teachers in post-graduate education. The criteria and levels of professional competence of "Health Basics" teachers' (low (receptive), medium (reproductive) sufficient (productive); high (creative)) are grounded. The content of teacher education in post-graduate education that promotes their professional competence is improved.
