The thesis is devoted to the research of the management system of international mergers and acquisitions process in global business. The social and economic nature, tendencies and peculiarities of global business consolidation are substantiated; the modern concepts of international mergers and acquisitions are considered in the thesis. The sectoral and regional peculiarities of international mergers and acquisitions processes are revealed. The profound analysis of theory and practice of international consolidation agreements during the last decades allowed substantiating the system of international mergers and acquisitions process management that contains the following main elements: strategic analysis, financial instruments, integration processes, crisis management and negotiation techniques. Procedural practices and financial mechanisms of effective business consolidation are systematized in the thesis. The cross-cultural peculiarities of international mergers and acquisitions are revealed. Based on the development of the national model of corporate management key factors of international mergers and acquisitions success in Ukraine are indicated in the thesis. The peculiarities of consolidation agreements in the Ukrainian business environment and the factors of management effectiveness of international mergers and acquisitions in the Ukrainian market are revealed.
