Object - deflation resistance of soils in Volhyn Polissya of Ukraine. Purpose - to reveale the reasons of deflation processes dynamic and criteria of quantity evaluation of Volhyn Polissya mineral and drained organic soils resistance to deflation. Methods - laboratory-experimental, modeling (imitation), mathematical-statistical and estimative-comparing. Theoretical results - theoretical approaches were developed to conduct the question of deflation soil steadiness of Volhyn Polissya mineral and drained organic soils, based on a complex estimation of agrophysical and agrochemical parameters and to detect the correlations of their dynamic under the influence of local deflation processes. Parameters of soils deflation steadiness were determined and groping of Volhyn Polissya mineral and drained organic soils were conducted. Practical results - determined the influence of deflation steadiness parameters of mineral and drained organic soils on weathering dynamics of soil material with definite critical wind velocities. The potential soil losses as well as for Volhyn Region, so for region districts were estimated to organize anti-deflation restoration and improve soil fertility. Methodological recommendations from soil aspect of deflation investigations in Volhyn Polissya were established with propositions to producers and deflation processes prognosis. Novelty - lays in a development of conditions and probabilities of local deflation processes. The role of climate factors on characteristic of wind stream and dynamic of deflation processes were obtained. The criteria for deflation resistance of soils evaluation and level of genesis, soil solid and granulometric composure influences on dynamic of deflation processes were received. For the first time in conditions of Volhyn Polissya of Ukraine the grouping of mineral and drained organic soils deflation resistance were implicated in methodological aspects due to the prognosis of deflation processes in Volhyn Polissya of Ukraine. Degree of application - main results of investigation are implemented on lands of: Pishanska village council of Shatsky district, Zdomyshelska village council of Ratnivsky district and Vydertska village council of Kamin-Kashyrsky district on area of 150 ha. The components of dissertation work are recommended to implicate during the soil protection from erosion and rational use of soil resources activities in conditions of Volhyn Polissya of Ukraine. The field is agriculture.
