The thesis is devoted to research the questions of organization and conduct career guidance in the system of preparing youth for professional agricultural activities in secondary schools in Great Britain. Dissertation research is dedicated to define peculiarities of the structure, content, methods and forms of career guidance in preparing youth for professional agricultural activities in secondary schools of Great Britain; established principles of its organization and conduct. Staged organization of career guidance and orientation on the agricultural profession in secondary schools in the UK, involves the following steps: study-initial; study and practice; final-practical are established. In the result of comparative analysis of career guidance in secondary schools of Great Britain and Ukraine, its general and different features were detected. The expediency of using the experience of British secondary schools in the process of career guidance to orient youth to professional agricultural activity in Ukrainian schools was grounded. The proposition for the organization of career guidance in secondary schools of Ukraine with the British experience was worked out.
