Essay

The system analysis of Ukraine and Poland twin-cities cooperation has been done within the frameworks of the complex research. The essence of the institute of twinning as a social and political phenomenon has been defined and the theoretical and methodological basis of the research problem has been determined in the terms of political science. The concepts and categories of the twin-cities cooperation have been studied with the application of terminological and systematic methods and the main approaches to the study of twin cities cooperation have been examined. The main features of the formation and development of twin-cities cooperation have been considered.
