This research focuses on the problem of formation of professional and pedagogical competence of nurses of the Family Medicine during training. Author compared basic theoretical models of nursing; the comparative analysis of family medical practice over the world and in Ukraine was made, the regulations governing its activities were studied. The state of training of nurses of family medicine in the system of professional medical education was analyzed; the essence and structural components of professional and pedagogical competence of the nurse of Family Medicine were distinguished and stated, its criteria and levels of formation. The model of formation of professional and pedagogical competence was developed, and it was in its way realized through technology. The work proved and experimentally confirmed the impact of professional training on the effective formation of professional and pedagogical competence of family medicine nurses. Formed professional and pedagogical competence of nurses of family medicine is the result of introduction of the offered model and technology.
