Research object - functioning process of the power circuits of double feed electric rolling stock with traction induction motor drive. Research methods - principles simulation, basic theory of geometrically similar transformers, principles approximation dependency, elements of the theory of converters and the basic principles of engineering experiment. The resolves an important scientific task of improving the efficiency of double feed electric rolling stock with traction induction motor drive and increase traffic safety by improving the power circuits structure. The theoretical and practical results can be used by organizations and enterprises of railway transport and in the educational process of the relevant universities. The results will improve the effectiveness of double feed electric rolling stock with traction induction motor drive, the quality of students training.
