The thesis studied diverse aspects of the effect produced by climate and landscape dispositive on daily life and work of Schumann, Tchaikovsky, Lysenko and Rachmaninov. The main primary source of information on the composers’ daily life and creative process is constituted of their memoirs, epistolary heritage and memories of their contemporaries. The creative biographies of the composers were studied and the following results were obtained: To a certain extent, seasons dictate the rhythm and intensity of the composers’ daily and creative life. Climatotherapy and trips are prerequisites for a romantic daily life. Meteorological conditions constitute an important factor of impact on physical and mental state of an individual. Irrational and metaphorical perception of the environment dispositive by the composers was dictated by general romantic trends of pantheism, world duality, attraction to mysticism and fantasy.The composers’ cultural reflection connected with the natural environment underwent the following stages of development: nature contemplation of the climate, landscape, seasonal and weather dispositive – perception, apprehension and conceptualization of cultural experience – creative process and direct implementation in a piece of music.
