The thesis is concerned with the development of theoretical and methodological framework for the examination of development features of foreign trade in agricultural sector of Ukraine, and with the development of scientific recommendations for increasing its exports of its key products in terms of agreements with the World Trade Organization and association with the EU. The thesis systematizes theoretical aspects of the development of Ukranian foreign trade in the WTO environment and in the context of realization of EU joint trade and agricultural policies; assesses comparative advantages of foreign trade in goods of Ukrainian agro-industrial complex.
