The thesis is a theoretical and experimental argumentation of scientific methods of forming the future teachers-philologists' professional communicative competence in the process of learning the special disciplines. The analysis of the modern approaches to forming the future teachers-philologists' professional communicative competence has been accomplished, the notional and terminological concept of the problem has been defined more precisely. The pedagogical conditions of forming the future teachers-philologists' professional communicative competence have been determined, theoretically grounded and experimentally tested. The model of forming the future teachers-philologists' professional communicative competence in the process of learning the special disciplines has been designed. The suggestions and recommendations of improving the content of training future teachers-philologists have been proved, the criteria that reflect the level of forming the future teachers-philologists' professional communicative competence have been systematized. The appropriate diagnostic tools, innovative forms and methods of forming the future teachers-philologists' professional communicative competence in the process of learning the special disciplines have been suggested. The pedagogical experiment on forming the future teachers-philologists' professional communicative competence in the process of learning the special disciplines proving the effectiveness of the author's approach has been planned and implemented.
