Essay

The object is the isofunctional syntactic paradigms; the aim is to reveal the formation's peculiarities of isofunctional syntactic paradigm in the system of sentences with subject state / state-attitude predicates, to ascertain the typology of three- and two-component paradigms in the system of subject state / state-attitude predicates of the Modern Ukrainian language; methods - linguistic description, structural, modeling, component analysis, statistic calculations, distributive analysis; novelty - firstly in Ukrainian linguistics the isofunctional syntactic structures with verbal, adjective / participle and adverbial subject physical, physiological, psycho-emotional, and intellectual state / state-attitude predicates were consistently inventoried on the logically-denotative, semantic-syntactic, and formal grammatical levels; verbs, adjectives / participles, and adverbs with "subject - his / her state" typical semantic were hierarchied after the dichotomy "centre - periphery", their morphological isofunctionality was proved in succession; the isofunctional paradigm's formation's mechanism in the syntactic system of the Modern Ukrainian language was logically qualified; the typology of three- and two-component isofunctional paradigms with subject state / state-attitude predicates was identified; the defined three- and two-component isofunctional syntactic paradigms' repertoire makes a prospect to further scientific studies on the problem of isofunctionality of syntactic structures with predicates of other semantic characteristics; results - virtual material; the key statements of the thesis can be used at making manuals and text-books for schools and universities; the corollaries of the thesis can also be implemented at educational process - at teaching theoretical courses of the Ukrainian language, especially morphology, syntax, and stylistics, scientific courses and seminars on the problems of lexicology, semantic syntax, text stylistics, theory of language communication; field - linguistics, functional syntax.
