Essay

The thesis deals with the problem of forming future social pedagogues' readiness for using art therapy while working with adolescents. The feasibility of using art therapy in psycho-pedagogical and socio-pedagogical practice is theoretically grounded. It was proved that using art therapy enables the social pedagogues to implement their own creative potential successfully. The definition of the concept "art-therapy" was clarified. The essence and the structure of future social pedagogues' readiness for using art therapy while working with adolescents are defined. It includes such components as cognitive, operational, motivational and creative. The experimental model of forming future social pedagogues' readiness for using art therapy while working with adolescents was grounded. It consists of regulatory, procedural and evaluative components. The model became the basis for working out the methodics of forming future social pedagogues' readiness for using art therapy while working with adolescents which was implemented in the educational process of training of future social pedagogues in order to be checked experimentally. It was proved that experimental methodics promotes positive changes in the level of future social pedagogues' readiness for using art therapy while working with adolescents.
