Essay

The theoretical generalization and a new approach to future teachers training for the usage of educational and games technologies in the process of geography studying are presented in the thesis. The state of teachers training in the theory and methods of educational and game technologies use in the learning process are described by the author. The content of the key concepts of research, such as: "training", " future geography teachers training " and "educational technology", "educational and game technology" are distinguished in the thesis. The educational and game technology is defined as a pedagogical technology, which develops favorable conditions for the mastering of scientific, educational and cultural information by students with taking into account their interests and needs; the technology using is intend to promote the usage of forms and methods, special ways and equipments of developing character based on the individual sensory aspects of consciousness, directing it on different types of teaching and learning activities activation. Based on the educational technology classifications analysis, the following educational and games technologies, which are used in the process of geography studding are pointed out in the investigation: according to the level of use - subject (geographical) technology, which is based on geographical educational games, according to the type of organizational cognitive activity - didactic games; according to the game's method - business games, according to the nature of the educational process - educational games; according to the sector of activity - simulation games; according to the type of game's environment - developing and didactic educational computer games. Professional competence of future teachers in the usage of educational and games technologies in the process of geography studying is understood as a future teacher's personal characteristic that appears in the complex of professional theoretical and methodological knowledge, professional skills, which reflecting a future geography teacher's capacity and ability to apply educational games technologies in pedagogical activities. The criteria of professional competence of future teachers in the usage of educational and games technologies are manifested, they are: motivational and value, cognitive, activity and evaluation criteria, which all have relevant indicators. It is proved that future teachers training for the usage of educational and games technologies in the process of geography studying is based on a systematic approach within scientific research promotes holistic perception of the object, allows to reveal relationships with other processes, systems, analyze the structure of play, identify and mutual interdependence of its components given the basic cause and effect in the study pedagogical phenomenon. The author theoretically proved and tested the model of that future teachers training for the usage of educational and games technologies in the process of geography studying; the model covers the following components: a unit of goals (goal and objectives of the training of teachers to use of educational and games technologies while mastering the geography); organizational (approaches, principles); content and procedure unit (stages of preparation of future teachers, content, forms, methods); results unit (criteria, indices and levels of professional competence of future teachers) pedagogical conditions of students preparation for educational and games technologies operating. Proved that future teachers training for the usage of educational and games technologies in the process of geography studying is effective if following pedagogical conditions are implemented: providing positive motivation of students to study and use educational and games technologies in their future careers; systematic use of educational and games technologies while mastering disciplines of professional and practical training; future teachers acquiring practical experience of theoretical knowledge, abilities, skills operating, training and the introduction of games technologies in the geography studying in the process of pedagogical practices. The first pedagogical condition was implemented through deepening students' personal motivation and focus on the use of educational and entertaining technologies which was realized in the introduction of the course "Educational and games technologies in future geography teachers' training". The content of the course was proposed for four-year students of specialty 6.0101401 Geography. The implementation of the second pedagogical condition was carried out by the students learning process optimization within professional disciplines study, which improves and helps to conduct educational and games technologies potential in students' training before the use of these technologies in professional activity. The realization of the third pedagogical condition included the introduction into the pedagogical practices tasks on the use of educational and games technologies of the geography teaching. Effective forms and methods of implementation of all the tasks were lessons' carrying out by students in secondary schools, modelling of game situations in the educational process in different classes.
