The problem of quality assurance of professional training of specialists, the current state and the possibilities of information support of higher economic education in Ukraine have been explored in the thesis; the essence of the notion "quality of professional training" has been specified; modern approaches to the provision of quality of professional training of economists at higher school have been determined; the current state and possibilities of informational support of higher economic education have been analyzed. The structure of information and communication educational environment has been theoretically grounded, the effectiveness of the usage of information and communication technologies at higher school has been experimentally verified
